Form 2290 (HVUT)
Trucks with a taxable gross weight of 55,000 lbs or more owe the Heavy Vehicle Use Tax. We file your Form 2290 and get you the stamped Schedule 1 you need for registration.
Form 2290 is filed with the IRS for heavy highway vehicles. The tax period runs from July 1 to June 30, and the stamped Schedule 1 is required to register or renew your plates, including IRP.
We prepare and e-file your return, handle vehicles added mid-year, suspended (low-mileage) vehicles, VIN corrections and amendments, and send you the Schedule 1 as soon as it's accepted.
